This washed coffee is produced at the Chelbesa One Washing Station in the Gedeb Zone of Ethiopia and managed by SNAP Specialty Coffee. Cherry is delivered by approximately 1,000 farmers; the lot includes the Ethiopian heirloom varieties Korume and Wolisho grown at 1,950–2,200 m.a.s.l. Cherries are depulped, dry-fermented 2–3 days, washed and dried on raised beds for 7–10 days. Tasting highlights include nectarine, orange, iced tea, pear and jasmine.
