Smallholder producers in the Hambela District of West Guji grow this coffee between 1900 and 2250 meters, where the high altitude and natural processing bring out vivid fruit character. The cherries are slow sun-dried with the fruit intact, allowing the beans to absorb sugars and develop flavors of raspberry, red grape, and hibiscus. Organic and direct trade certified.
