This coffee is a single-origin SL28 variety from the El Cola Roja farm in the Perez Zeledon region of San José, Costa Rica. Grown at an altitude of 1700 meters, this lot was picked in March 2026 and processed using the natural method. The coffee is produced by Senel Campos Valverde, whose farm has been recognized for its commitment to specialty coffee quality and success in the Cup of Excellence.
Founded in 2020 by Tong Zhang in Chengdu, this micro-specialty roastery emerged from an unexpected journey—a robotics engineer's transformation into coffee artisan after discovering specialty coffee in Paris.
