About This Coffee

This single-origin coffee comes from Finca Monteblanco in the Huila region of Colombia, grown at 1730 meters altitude. The Pink Bourbon varietal, a cross-breed of red and yellow bourbon, undergoes Fruit Juice Double Anaerobic Washed processing. This innovative method involves fermenting the beans twice in anaerobic tanks using yeasts cultivated with specific fruits before traditional washed processing. The coffee offers flavor notes of rum, raisin, passion fruit, blackberry, and cocoa.

The Crackpots Coffee Roaster

The Crackpots Coffee Roaster was founded in 2017 by Wilson and YeeFong in Subang Jaya, Selangor, growing from a small open air mini roaster into a full commercial roasting operation. The team believes in roasting coffee with character rather than suppressed flavor, developing unique profiles for each single origin to highlight the natural characteristics of the bean. Every batch is roasted on demand and dispatched within the optimal consumption window, ensuring customers receive coffee at its freshest. The roastery takes a welcoming, no snobbery approach, with knowledgeable staff who guide customers toward the right beans without judgment. Their selection spans light to medium dark roasts across a rotating lineup of single origins and blends.
