This Peruvian single-origin coffee comes from the high-altitude Chontali region in Jaén, Peru, at 1800–2000 meters. Grown by smallholders, it is fully washed and sun-dried, pairing a sweet, full-bodied cup with notes of plum, milk chocolate, and apple. The beans come from Catuai and Caturra varieties and are suitable for both espresso and filter brews.
Clifftop Coffee Roasters is a Portugal-based specialty roaster that sources single-origin coffee seasonally and ships it freshly roasted across Europe. It started in 2021 with coffee roasted on a balcony overlooking the sea and sold at a local market, then grew into a nano-roastery. The operation has scaled up since, with a bigger roaster, and a dedicated warehouse. Green coffee is sourced seasonally and roasted for balance and consistency, backed by quality control and regular cupping, across a rotating lineup that has recently included Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Rwanda.
