This coffee is a single-origin offering from the Chelchele farm in the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia. Grown at an altitude between 1900 and 2300 meters, it consists of 74110 and 74112 varieties. The coffee is processed using a natural anaerobic method. It features a distinct flavor profile characterized by notes of blackberry, violet, and a touch of winey acidity.
"Mame," meaning "beans" in Japanese, was founded in Zurich by world-class coffee champions Emi Fukahori and Mathieu Theis. Their unique philosophy is to make exceptional, competition-level coffee accessible by curating their selection based on flavor profiles (e.g., "Fruity," "Chocolatey," "Floral"). This helps customers easily find a coffee they will love.
