This single-origin coffee is sourced from the Cachoeira da Grama farm in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil, produced by Gabriel de Carvalho Dias at an altitude of 1200 meters. The coffee is a Bourbon variety processed using the natural method. It offers a balanced flavor profile with notes of cocoa, roasted hazelnut, and butter. This coffee is well-suited for both espresso and filter brewing methods.
Founded in 2009 by Kaelin McCowan in a back alley in Dundas, Ontario, Detour Coffee Roasters was born from a passion for the craft. They started with a journey across the continent to pick up their first roaster and have since grown into a beloved brand known for their fun, approachable, and high-quality "friendly coffee".
