This Burundi Ninga Hill coffee is produced in collaboration with the Long Miles Coffee Project in the Muramvya region. The coffee is a Red Bourbon variety processed using a washed method. It features a flavor profile characterized by notes of orange, honey, and caramel. The cherries are hand-sorted, pulped, and undergo dry fermentation before being dried on raised African beds for 16-20 days. This coffee is suitable for both filter and espresso brewing methods.
With roots in both Chicago and Istanbul, Four Letter Word was founded by a team with a background in design and a deep love for coffee's communal power. Their approach is minimalist and quality-driven, focusing on building strong, direct relationships with a select few producers each year. They roast with the intention of showcasing the pure, unadulterated flavor of the bean, letting the coffee speak for itself.
