Utopia Coffee is an organic specialty roastery based in Gland, on the shore of Lake Geneva between Lausanne and Geneva. Founded in 2018, the company draws on knowledge and passion developed since 2012 and holds particular attention to transparency and the excellence of its selected beans. Utopia operates the first independent barista school on the Vaud coast, alongside latte art workshops, tasting experiences, and roastery visits that have earned strong acclaim from visitors. The roasting approach is geared primarily toward filter coffee, though espresso is also part of the range, and all coffees carry organic certification. Customers have compared the quality to specialty standards found in Melbourne, Tokyo, and New York. Utopia's mission weaves together respect for people, nature, and the craft of coffee into an operation that is equal parts education and enjoyment.
