The Obata variety is processed using the "Cold Soul Natural" method, developed by Luiz Saldanha, which involves soaking cherries overnight in cold water before slow drying on African beds for 25–30 days. This results in a cleaner and sweeter cup than conventional naturals, with tasting notes of mixed berries, raisin, chocolate, and honey. Roasted medium. Cup score: 86.00.
