This coffee originates from the mountains of Chiang Rai, Thailand. It undergoes anaerobic fermentation combined with honey processing, producing intense notes of ripe tropical fruits, stone fruits, and pleasant sweetness. The flavor profile includes vibrant aromas with a round, syrupy body and fine fruity acidity reminiscent of peach and apricot. This coffee demonstrates the innovation of Thailand's specialty coffee scene with complex fruity characteristics.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
