About This Coffee

This coffee is sourced from the Guji region of Ethiopia, specifically from the Sasaba processing station. It is produced by over 500 smallholder farmers who cultivate their coffee trees at altitudes around 2,100 meters under natural forest shade. The beans are processed using the washed method, involving depulping and fermentation in water. This coffee features a flavor profile characterized by sweet notes of ripe nectarines, the crisp freshness of green apple, and a fragrant finish reminiscent of Earl Grey tea.

Kmen Coffee Roasters

Opened at the end of 2021 in České Budějovice by a group of friends, they roast on a 15kg Giesen machine in an open space roastery with espresso bar, featuring flowery herbarium like packaging that represents the flavor profiles. Head roaster Petr brings years of experience. Their coffee is known for floral and fruity notes, and they've opened their first espresso bar at Budějovice train station. The team values diversity in coffee, rejecting the notion of one right taste.
