This washed coffee is from the San José de Lourdes district in San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Peru. Grown by various smallholders at altitudes between 1400-1800 meters above sea level, it features a varietal blend of Caturra, Typica, and Catimor. The coffee is washed processed, with cherries selectively handpicked, depulped, fermented to break down mucilage, thoroughly washed, and dried on raised beds or patios. The harvest season runs from June to October. Tasting notes include raisins, dark chocolate, and red plum, with a balanced acidity and smooth body.
