Pura Vida No. 1 Espresso is a blend of 20% Robusta beans from India, 30% Arabica beans from Costa Rica, and 50% Arabica beans from Brazil. It features a hazelnut and dark chocolate aroma developed through slow roasting, suitable for ristretto, espresso, and filter brewing when ground coarser. The coffee is sustainably and fairly traded, composed mainly of Arabica with a small Robusta portion.
Originally established in 2002 by founders Sascha Spittel and Robert Stock as Tres Cabezas and rebranded to 19grams in 2018, this Berlin-based roastery has been a pioneer in bringing specialty coffee to Germany when the movement was barely recognized in the country.
