This coffee is a regional blend from Huehuetenango, Guatemala, sourced from 10–15 smallholder producers in the San Antonio Huista area. Grown at an altitude between 1,550 and 1,650 meters, this lot consists of Caturra, Catuai, and Bourbon varieties. It is a washed process coffee that offers a sweet, chocolatey flavor profile with notes of stone fruits and a pleasant acidity. It is well-suited for both espresso and filter brewing methods.
Clifftop Coffee Roasters is a Portugal-based specialty roaster that sources single-origin coffee seasonally and ships it freshly roasted across Europe. It started in 2021 with coffee roasted on a balcony overlooking the sea and sold at a local market, then grew into a nano-roastery. The operation has scaled up since, with a bigger roaster, and a dedicated warehouse. Green coffee is sourced seasonally and roasted for balance and consistency, backed by quality control and regular cupping, across a rotating lineup that has recently included Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, and Rwanda.
