This is a single origin espresso coffee with flavor notes of plum, agave, and dark chocolate. The coffee is available in 12oz (340g) bags and can be purchased as whole bean or ground for various brewing methods including espresso, coffee maker, Hario V60 dripper, French press, Chemex, and Turkish.
Spencer Turer founded Dripp Coffee in 2012 in Grinnell, Iowa, naming the operation after an abbreviated take on drip coffee and the pour over method. The roastery and coffeehouse on Broad Street serves as a community gathering space with art displays, live music, and open mic nights, drawing a mix of Grinnell College students and locals. Coffee is roasted in house in small batches, sourced through Fair Trade, organic, and direct trade channels from Central and South America and Africa. A second location in downtown Des Moines expanded the reach beyond the small college town.
