This coffee comes from El Mirante, a small 3-hectare farm in Peru managed by the Mendoza family. The coffee is grown under natural shade from native tree species following organic principles. Hand-picked red cherries are processed on the farm using washed processing with fermentation extended by cool mountain temperatures, then dried on raised beds in shade for approximately 20 days. The coffee offers sweet and round characteristics with a floral aroma, good balance, and pleasant texture with notes of nougat, honey, and apricot. The farm is part of Valle Inca network, which supports over 400 coffee producers in the region.
