This coffee is produced by Arnulfo Cueva from the community of Dos de Mayo in Jaen province, Cajamarca, Peru. The farm is one hectare in size and sits at 2,031 meters above sea level in the highlands of Jaen. Arnulfo is a member of the Aromas del Valle co-operative. This is a Yellow Caturra variety separation that underwent a 60-hour fermentation in cherry before being washed. The flavor profile includes blood orange, yellow plum, and a caramelized sugary pastry-like quality similar to kouign amann.
