This coffee comes from Mount Totumas Cloud Forest Coffee in Panama, grown at elevations between 1800 and 1900 meters in La Amistad region. The farm borders Central America's largest highland national park and features over 10,000 shade-grown trees planted in areas reforested with native trees. The Catuai variety is processed using the Milky Way Washed method, where coffee is depulped, fermented in grain pro bags submerged in cold natural spring water for 48 hours, extended fermentation for 24 hours in closed containers, then slow dried on indoor beds for 6 weeks with controlled humidity. Mount Totumas won Best of Panama in the Natural Geisha category as #1 in 2023 and #6 in 2024.
