This coffee is from El Burro Estate in Panama, one of the southernmost coffee farms in the country, partially lying within the Baru Volcano National Park. The Geisha variety is grown at elevations from 1,550 to 1,800 meters above sea level with a mean elevation of 1,675 meters. The farm features young volcanic soils, pristine forest, and a unique micro-climate. The coffee is naturally processed and benefits from cold nights that extend ripening time by one month, enhancing bean development. Growing conditions include low temperatures, dry seasons, and heavy precipitation during wet seasons averaging 3,200mm annually, surrounded by virgin native cloud forest.
