A Maracaturra variety coffee from Finca Buenos Aires, located in Dipilto, Nicaragua, at approximately 1,200 meters altitude. Maracaturra is a cross between Caturra and Maragogype ("Elephant Bean"). This "Los Medios" selection features smaller-sized Maracaturra beans (screen size 16–18). Processed using a washed (wet) method, with mechanical cherry separation and overnight wet fermentation for mucilage removal. The flavor profile features bittersweet notes of baked apple and cherimoya with a tannic, tea-like finish. Noted for pronounced sweetness, body, and fruitiness.
