This coffee originates from the Nyabihu region in northwest Rwanda, sourced from Cooperativa Vunga, a cooperative of 260 producers led by Daphrose Uwimana. The beans are Red Bourbon variety processed using the washed method. The coffee displays flavor notes of yellow kiwi, honey, and bright freshness. This coffee is suitable for both espresso and filter brewing.
Harmony Roasters began in 2021 when Dani sold his motorbike to buy a one kilogram capacity roaster. Together with his partner Agatha, who handles photography, social media, and the web presence, Dani built a micro roastery in Montcada i Reixac on the outskirts of Barcelona. His approach favours minimal intervention, letting the coffee's natural character come through rather than imposing a heavy roast signature. It paid off quickly: Dani won both the Catalan Coffee Roasting Championship and the Spain Roasters Championship in 2021, then took the Catalan title again in 2022. The roastery uses fully compostable packaging and supplies several businesses around Barcelona.
