This honey processed coffee is from Rancho El Separo in Veracruz, Mexico, grown at 1400 meters above sea level. Produced by Senén Sampieri Bulbarella, the coffee features Anacafé 14 and Marsellesa varieties. The cherries are carefully hand-selected for ripeness, floated to remove defects, depulped, and fermented in natural mucilage before sun-drying on patio. The farm follows agroecological practices with natural shade from native trees, avoiding herbicides and prioritizing biodiversity. Flavor notes include cherry starburst, melon, and creamed honey. This lot received recognition in the 2024 Cup of Excellence.
