A unique blend of specialty grade coffee made from unused samples and ends of sacks that are not quite enough to make up a full roast. Each bag is unique in composition, using high-quality, fresh, traceable, and ethically sourced specialty grade coffee that would otherwise be wasted. The coffee is fully traceable and best consumed within 6 weeks of roast date.
Dear Green Coffee Roasters was founded in 2011 in Glasgow, Scotland, by Lisa Lawson after a formative period working at Toby's Estate in Australia. The company is named after Glasgow's historic Gaelic nickname, "the dear green place," and sources exclusively specialty grade coffee through trusted importers and direct producer relationships, with Lawson personally visiting farms to verify ethical practices. Dear Green employs in house Q Graders to maintain strict quality control, only releasing coffees that meet its sensory standards. The roastery holds Certified B Corp status and prioritizes traceability, organic certification where possible, and sourcing from women producers.
