This coffee is a Bourbon variety from the Maruri Hill region in Kayanza, Burundi, grown at an altitude of 1800-1900 meters. It is processed using a traditional washed method, involving 12-24 hours of fermentation followed by drying on African raised beds for 2-3 weeks. The flavor profile is characterized by juicy stonefruit sweetness, a delicate black tea character, and a clean sugarcane finish. This coffee is balanced, refined, and approachable.
