This coffee is grown in the mountains of Caicedo, Antioquia, at high altitude. It is a single-origin Castillo variety processed using the washed method. The flavor profile features notes of wild blackberry, cacao, and chocolate, complemented by a medium citrus acidity and a medium-full body.
Luis Fernando Vélez founded Amor Perfecto in 1997 with a revolutionary mission: to challenge the status quo where Colombia's best coffee was only exported, leaving lesser quality for locals. For over two decades, his philosophy has been to roast the finest local beans at their origin, ensuring freshness and allowing Colombians to experience the world-class coffee their country produces. This dedication has made him a pivotal figure in establishing a domestic market for specialty coffee.
