This naturally low-caffeine coffee from Daterra features two rare cultivars: Laurina and Aramosa. Sourced from the Cerrado region of Brazil at 1000-1200 meters altitude, produced by Luis Pascoal. The beans are processed using a yeast fermented anaerobic washed method with EA decaffeination. Laurina, evolved from Bourbon, contains 25-50% caffeine of normal Arabica beans. Aramosa is known for its floral characteristics and also has approximately half the caffeine content of normal Arabica. The flavor profile features refreshing grape and soft floral notes.
Driven by a passion for exceptional coffee, Sam and Alice Young established Obadiah Coffee in Edinburgh in 2017. Sam honed his craft in the Australian specialty coffee scene before bringing his expertise to Scotland. They adopt a minimalist and intentional approach, roasting with a gentle touch to honor the coffee's origin and tell the story of its landscape and the hands that cultivated it.
