Note: Due to the very limited quantity, we roast this coffee periodically. If you order now, you will receive coffee from our 12th of May 2026 roast batch. No worries, this coffee is at its best after resting for around three weeks post-roast, and it will stay great for several weeks after that. The coffee is sold in our “Special Edition” 100 g glass jars. Los Magnificos Geisha comes from Colombia, from Huila and the San Agustín area. Its cup profile is true to the Geisha variety: light, elegant, and silky. Expect notes like citrus, jasmine, and fruit candy. And as good as it tastes, the story behind it is even bigger. Los Magnificos was created to solve a very practical problem: many producers in San Agustín farm such small plots that their harvest volumes are too tiny to be sold as individual lots. For this coffee, Semilla Coffee and Monkaaba brought together small, but outstanding, Geisha lots from five different farms into one combined lot that is large enough to be exported and sold. The coffee was produced by Orlando Quinayas, Diana Quinayas, Jose Omar Muñoz, Rovira Salamanca, and Stiven Hoyos on their farms around San Agustín.
Good Life Coffee Roasters grew from a Helsinki café venture that Lauri Pipinen opened in 2012, eventually establishing the dedicated roastery in 2014. Lauri, a three time Finnish barista champion, brings championship pedigree to the operation and has competed in the World Coffee Championships representing Finland. The roastery's philosophy is straightforward and unpretentious: source and roast coffee that is fresh, tasty, and easy to drink. Over the years, the roastery has evolved from a small neighborhood café into an award-winning operation, earning the title of Best Roaster at the Nordic Coffee Fest in 2024.
