LAMOON is a blend of honey processed coffees from multiple farmers and locations in Thailand. The coffee is produced with assistance from Akha Ama Coffee, working with farmers Liger from Maejantai, Ayo and Mika from Baan Mai, and Ader from Maejantai. This light roast features a smooth yet deep experience with tart-sweet flavors reminiscent of rose apple, apple juice, and butter cookie. The honey process contributes to a good body and texture.
Lee Ayu Chuepa established Akha Ama in 2010 as a social enterprise connecting his Akha hilltribe village to the global specialty coffee market. The roastery transforms coffee from 30 local farmers using sustainable, organic practices while ensuring fair compensation that ranks among the world's highest for producers.
