Grown in rich volcanic soil at lower elevations, the coffee benefits from mild temperatures and slow cherry maturation. It is a washed process coffee that emphasizes refinement, offering a clean and elegant cup. The flavor profile features bright notes of lime and tangerine, balanced by a soft caramel sweetness. It has a silky, tea-like body and a vibrant acidity, resulting in a remarkably balanced and transparent cup.

Founded in 2002 by R. Miguel Meza in Minnesota, Paradise Coffee Roasters relocated to Hilo, Hawaii in 2008 to work directly with local farmers and root the business in origin.
