This AA fully washed coffee is from Kamwangi washing station, managed by New Ngariama Farmers Cooperative Society in Kirinyaga County, Kenya's central highlands. The Co-op works with approximately 1,500 smallholder farmers who cultivate Ruiru 11, SL-28, and Batian varieties at altitudes between 1,600-2,000 meters above sea level. The coffee is hand-sorted, pulped, fermented for 24-36 hours, washed, and sun-dried on African drying beds for 12-20 days. Flavor notes include blackcurrant, nougat, and vanilla. Roasted light to medium, suitable for both filter and espresso brewing.
