This coffee is a single-origin Batian variety from the Meru region of Kenya, grown at 1,500 meters altitude. It is processed using a natural method with yeast inoculation and a fast drying sequence. The flavor profile features notes of dark chocolate, rosehip, and sage, with a juicy, light body and a bright, citric acidity. This coffee is roasted light to highlight its exotic fruit characteristics.

Coffea Circulor emerged from its founders' work with the United Nations environmental branch in Arendal, after witnessing coffee farmers in Kenya being paid merely $0.70/kg for green coffee. Initially roasting on a lighthouse island named Store Torungen, nowadays the company operates onshore as a multi-award winning producer, roaster, and research lab.
