This single-origin Burundi coffee is from Shikankoni, Kayanza region. Sourced from various selected smallholders and processed at CAFEX washing station, with dry milling at IKAWA NZIZA. The coffee is Bourbon variety, washed process. Ripe cherries are sun-dried on raised African beds, turned every 2 hours for even fermentation, and covered during midday heat. Milled at 1,730 meters altitude at Ikawa Nziza's specialty drymill. Features treacle sweetness with lemon, apricot, and peach notes, delivering a full-bodied and balanced cup with fruity and sticky sweet character.
