This coffee is a Brazil Bom Jesus coffee that has been barrel-aged. The green coffee beans were aged for two months in French oak whiskey barrels provided by Thomond Gate Whiskey. These barrels had previously housed port before being used for whiskey, adding unique flavor dimensions to the coffee. The base coffee from Brazil Bom Jesus features inherent flavors of walnuts and maple syrup, which complement the whiskey and vanilla notes from the barrel aging process.
