This is a classic wet-hulled coffee from Sumatra, Indonesia - the only region to practice this unique processing method. The unroasted beans are deep green in colour with higher density and moisture content than other coffees. When roasted, the result is rich, earthy and complex with chocolate and spice notes.
Rob and Vikki Hodge founded Rave Coffee in Cirencester in 2011. The roastery moved into a renovated building on Phoenix Way in spring 2023, housing two Loring roasters, a 70kg and the original 35kg. They roast to order daily and have accumulated over 24,000 five star reviews. The Independent voted their subscription the Best Overall Coffee Subscription in 2024. Rave is a 1% for the Planet member and has planted over 22,000 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Their range covers blends, single origins, pods, brew bags, cold brew, and green beans for home roasting.
