Illumination Espresso is a single origin espresso with flavor notes of grapefruit, cranberry, and dark chocolate. This coffee is sold in 12oz (340g) bags and is available as whole bean or in various grind options including espresso, coffee maker, pour over methods, French press, and Turkish preparation.
Spencer Turer founded Dripp Coffee in 2012 in Grinnell, Iowa, naming the operation after an abbreviated take on drip coffee and the pour over method. The roastery and coffeehouse on Broad Street serves as a community gathering space with art displays, live music, and open mic nights, drawing a mix of Grinnell College students and locals. Coffee is roasted in house in small batches, sourced through Fair Trade, organic, and direct trade channels from Central and South America and Africa. A second location in downtown Des Moines expanded the reach beyond the small college town.
