Mostra House Decaf is a seasonally rotating coffee decaffeinated using the Swiss Water® Process. This method is done in small batches and is 100% chemical-free. The green beans are pre-soaked in water and introduced to Green Coffee Extract, a solution concentrated with coffee solubles that extracts the caffeine without extracting the coffee's particular flavor. The coffee has a sweet and creamy body with a smooth finish and is roasted to a medium-dark level.
Founded in 2013 by Beverly and Sam Magtanong, Jelynn Malone, and Mike Arquines, Mostra Coffee began in Beverly's kitchen experimenting with coffees from InterAmerican Coffee before expanding through public cuppings at Abnormal Wine Company. Growing from that humble garage operation in 4S Ranch to multiple San Diego locations, Mostra has become a woman owned, immigrant owned, minority owned, and disabled veteran owned business that earned recognition as a multiple award winning roastery.
