House Blend Mild is a nutty, chocolate-forward coffee blend based on a natural-processed Brazil (Fazenda Matão) and complemented by a washed Guatemala (Finca Pampojila). Varieties listed are Mundo Novo and Caturra. Processing methods are Natural and Washed. Altitudes are given as 1,200–1,350 m and 1,400–1,700 m. The roast is labeled for espresso and the cup is described as full-bodied with hazelnut and chocolate notes and a pleasant sweetness.
Founded in 2015 by Tobias Stehle and Michael Menrad, District Five operates as Ingolstadt's first specialty coffee roastery. The production facility sits in nearby Manching. The roastery maintains direct relationships with South American producers and holds organic certification.
