This Peruvian single-origin coffee comes from the Colca Valley region of Peru. The 3.25ha Finca El Barejón farm parcels grow 100% Bourbon (El Limón, El Laurel, La Mandarina). Cherries are pulped, washed, and dried over 15 days after a 24-hour dry fermentation. The farm is at 1750 MASL and is produced by Yonal Fernández and Imelda Villalobos; this is Detour's Coffeemania-winning coffee offered in its second year.
Founded in 2009 by Kaelin McCowan in a back alley in Dundas, Ontario, Detour Coffee Roasters was born from a passion for the craft.
