This coffee is sourced from Guatemala, specifically from the Huehuetenango and Cubulco regions. Produced by a community of women farmers, this coffee is washed and sun-dried, resulting in a clean and bright cup. The flavor profile features notes of milk chocolate, praline, and crisp Granny Smith apple. It offers a smooth, creamy body with a gentle nuttiness and a refreshing apple acidity that provides clarity and structure to the cup.
Hard Lines started as a small Aeropress pop up bar serving filter coffee in Cardiff and grew over several years into one of Wales's best known specialty roasters. The roastery operates out of Gwaelod y Garth, on the edge of the Brecon Beacons, using two Loring eco friendly roasters: an S35 Kestrel and an S15 Falcon. They run three locations in the Cardiff area, including a café in Penylan inspired by Italian neighbourhood coffee bars. The offering rotates with seasonal fresh crop arrivals, and the brand's distinctive smiley face identity was developed with designer Cadilane.
