This coffee is from Finca La Serranía in Guatemala, founded by Pedro Fernández in 1985. The farm is located in a rainforest environment with altitude varying from 1,300 to 1,600 meters. The plantation benefits from a unique microclimate with descendent cold and humid air from Sierra de Las Minas in evenings and warm winds from the Motagua river valley during the day. This is a Geisha variety processed using the natural method. The farm practices sustainable agriculture alongside coffee production, including ornamental plants, cardamom, and pine trees, with shade provided by Pinus Maximinoi and Inga trees.
