Golden Huila

About This Coffee

Golden Huila is a single-origin coffee from the Huila region of Colombia, produced under the "Young Farmers of Huila" community project through the Coocentral cooperative, which unites over 3,000 farms. This coffee is grown on small family farms and features the Castillo and Caturra varieties. The wet processing method preserves clean flavor notes of milk chocolate, complemented by orange, cane sugar sweetness, and floral character. The coffee offers a full body, rich fruity notes, gentle acidity, and excellent balance.

Stow Coffee Roasters

Stow Coffee Roasters was founded in Ljubljana in 2016 and runs its roastery in Kamnik, with the stated aim of lifting Slovenian coffee to an international specialty standard. It was set up from the start as three connected parts with the roastery, cafés in Ljubljana, and Stow Academy, which has grown into one of the country's main coffee education centres. The roastery buys seasonally and works with single origins alongside rare, competition-level lots, which it sells under the Stow Rare label, sourced from well-regarded farms and producers. Roasting for espresso is aimed at balance, clarity and sweetness, while the filter range is built to show each coffee's origin character, its variety, terroir and processing method.
