Ang Ang Roastery

Ang Ang Roastery was founded in 2018 in Penang by twin brothers who returned from the United States with a vision to bring specialty coffee culture to their hometown. The roastery operates with an open kitchen concept, allowing visitors to observe the roasting and baking processes firsthand. Drawing on Scandinavian design principles, the spaces feature clean lines, natural light, and minimal aesthetics that keep the focus on the coffee itself. Since its founding, Ang Ang has expanded to seven locations across the Penang region. The roastery combines its coffee program with an in house bakery and healthy food operation, reflecting a holistic approach to the craft.
