This single-origin coffee is sourced from over 500 small family farms in the Sidama region of Ethiopia, grown at an altitude of 2,300 meters. It is a naturally processed coffee featuring a clean, crisp, and fruit-forward profile. The cup is characterized by delicate floral notes, with specific tasting notes of bergamot, nectarine, and brown sugar. This coffee is roasted light to highlight its nuanced and bright qualities.
Rob and Vikki Hodge founded Rave Coffee in Cirencester in 2011. The roastery moved into a renovated building on Phoenix Way in spring 2023, housing two Loring roasters, a 70kg and the original 35kg. They roast to order daily and have accumulated over 24,000 five star reviews. The Independent voted their subscription the Best Overall Coffee Subscription in 2024. Rave is a 1% for the Planet member and has planted over 22,000 trees through a partnership with One Tree Planted. Their range covers blends, single origins, pods, brew bags, cold brew, and green beans for home roasting.
