Ideal Kafferisteri

About This Coffee

A naturally processed Ethiopian coffee from the Derikocha washing station in Derikidame, where 650 smallholder farmers contribute hand-picked ripe cherries from farms of approximately 2 hectares. Coffee is shade-grown and harvested when cherries are ripe and red. The natural process involves sun-drying the cherries for 18–21 days with regular turning and covering during peak sun hours and at night to ensure even drying. The coffee offers a juicy, lively, almost candy-like cup with a pleasant body and notes of berry compote.
