Costa Rica Tarrazú Jaguar is a Tarrazú-region coffee produced at the San Diego Mill (Beneficios Volcafe). The lot is honey processed and hulled from parchment that is 100% sundried in a greenhouse. Varieties listed are Caturra and Catuai, grown at 1,200–1,300 meters. Tasting notes include honey, prune, caramel and bright acidity.
Yew Meng, an engineer by training, began roasting in 2016 and opened Reframe Coffee Roasters in Penang's industrial Bayan Lepas district as a nano-roastery. In 2019, Yew Meng won the International Coffee Roast Master Championship Malaysia. His engineering background shows in the approach: methodical sourcing, controlled variables, obsessive attention to roast development. Origins rotate seasonally with filter brewing positioned as the primary method for experiencing single-origin character.
