About This Coffee

This coffee is a blend from Hacienda Sonora, located in Costa Rica's Central Valley at the foot of the Poás Volcano. The 3,400 square foot space combines a production roastery, retail café, and bakery, with all coffee roasted on a Loring S70 that delivers up to 80 percent fuel savings compared to conventional machines. Head Roaster Michel Brode, a silver medallist at the 2016 Swedish National Coffee Roasting Championship, develops personalised profiles for wholesale clients. The roastery works directly with producers worldwide, prioritising transparency and fair pricing, and serves house baked pastries alongside its coffee programme.
