This Costa Rican coffee is produced by Ivan Solis in the Vara Blanca region. The coffee undergoes a Raisin Honey process where cherries are washed with clean water, fermented in tanks for 72 hours, removed to raised beds for a further 72 hours, then pulped and placed back on beds for 14 days. Ivan Gerardo Solís Rivera is a certified Q-grader since 2009 who has spent over 20 years in coffee growing, processing, and quality control. The Solis & Cordero Micromill was founded in 2018 to support smallholders in the Santos region, providing cherry processing services and maintaining farm-level traceability.
