Colombia Popayan Decaf

Colombia Popayan Decaf

Goriffee

About This Coffee

This Colombia Popayan Decaf is a high-quality coffee sourced from the Cauca region, produced by farmers from the Cofinet cooperative. Grown at an altitude of 1,500 meters, this 100% Castillo Arabica coffee undergoes a natural decaffeination process using ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane. This method preserves the coffee's flavor potential, resulting in a sweet profile with distinct notes of nougat, apple, and cinnamon. Roasted to a medium level specifically for espresso, it offers a full body and a balanced, sweet cup.

Goriffee

Goriffee is a Bratislava-based roastery with a unique story and a strong focus on social responsibility. The name is a portmanteau of "gorilla" and "coffee," inspired by the founders' travels and deep connection to Rwanda. They have established direct trade relationships with farmers, particularly with the KOPAKAMA cooperative in Rwanda, ensuring ethical practices and fair pay. Their mission is to be a bridge between the farmers and the final cup, roasting with care to honor the producers' hard work and share their stories.
