This coffee is a single-origin offering from the Chelchele washing station in the Gedeb district of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Grown by smallholder farmers at altitudes between 1900 and 2100 meters, this coffee consists of traditional Heirloom varieties. It is processed using the natural (bærtørket) method, resulting in a flavor profile characterized by notes of blackberry, red currant, dates, cherry, white tea, and floral undertones. The cup is noted for its elegance, clarity, and light mouthfeel, reflecting the stable, cool climate of the region.
A Trondheim-based roastery founded in 2018 by industry veterans, focusing on showcasing the bean's origin by not letting the roast profile overpower its natural qualities.
